Great to meet you!

Know that I'm not going to hand you a worksheet and call it healing. I work with grief, trauma, anxiety, and the patterns that show up in relationships and families — often with people who've been told to just push through. Being afro-latino shapes how I show up for clients navigating identity, cultural expectations, and what it means to ask for help in the first place. I see individuals and couples, in-person in Windsor or by video anywhere in Colorado.

My approach to therapy

Expect a mix of structure and honesty. I use EMDR and trauma-focused CBT to work directly with what's stuck, and Gottman Method when the work is about a relationship rather than one person. I'll ask direct questions and name what I'm noticing — I won't just nod along. That challenge is in service of getting you somewhere, not making you uncomfortable for its own sake.

What you can expect from me

Come as you are — you don't need to have the story organized. We'll talk through what brought you in, what's been hardest lately, and what you're hoping is different a few months from now. By the end, you'll have a sense of how we'd work together, and you're free to decide it's not the right fit — no pressure either way.
