Great to meet you!

I began my work in mental health field working within community health agencies before transitioning to working with individuals, couples, and family counseling. My experiences in diverse settings has given me an understanding of how to meet my clients "where they are" in their mental health journey.

I received my Master's of Education in Clinical Mental Health and Addictions Counseling from The College of William and Mary in 2017.

My approach to therapy

I enjoy working in collaboration with my clients to develop clear and measurable goals that are practical for their lives. I enjoy working with clients who are wanting to "put in the work" for themselves and are wanting to change behaviors, understand different perspectives, and learn new strategies to help manage their day to day lives.

What you can expect from me

Our first session will be doing a bio-psychosocial assessment for me to get a better understanding of who my clients are beyond what they are seeking counseling for. I want to create a space for clients to feel understood, respected, and motivated to focus on themselves. I am highly collaborative with my clients to help identify meaningful goals to work towards in therapy.
