Great to meet you!

Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) with an M.S.W. in Clinical Social Work, specializing in Adult Mental Health from Boston College, and a B.A. in Psychology from UMass Lowell. Brings over 11 years of experience in human services, providing trauma-informed care to adults, youth, and families across mental health, acquired brain injury, and developmental disability settings. Recognized for impactful preventative work among youth and families in the Greater Boston Area while serving with the Department of Children and Families, and considerable experience supporting Adolescents (and their families) struggling with high-risk behaviors.

My approach to therapy

My style is humorous, transparent, direct and reflective. I am here to help you gain clarity around the issues that you are coming up against in your life, focus on the areas where you have control, and to help empower you towards change. Sometimes this means identifying ways of implementing boundaries in your life in difficult relationships, sometimes this means finding paths towards action if you are struggling with depression, and at other times this means carving a sacred space into your life for processing grief that you may have carried for many years. Whatever it is that you are seeking to move through in your life, I intend to be of service towards your mission.

What you can expect from me

My work centers around Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Internal Family Systems, with components of Mindfulness woven throughout our sessions. Our first session together is an opportunity for us to get to know each other, and for me to hear about the challenges you are hoping to address in your life. Through a very collaborative process, I want to help you identify the goals and changes that you want to create in your life. What I ask of you is an openness towards new perspectives, and a commitment to your own growth. My job is not to change you, but to empower you to find what changes you can implement into your own life, and to help you find new pathways towards inner freedom and well-being.
