Great to meet you!

Many people are unsure how to help their family members or friends that are struggling with mental health or substance use, or where to seek help for themselves. I have spent the last 6 years working in substance use and mental health treatment and have had the privilege of meeting and working with adolescents, young adults, and adults in individual, group, and family settings. I look forward to helping you understand yourself better each time we meet.

My approach to therapy

Your first session is an opportunity for us to get to know each other and start building a comfortable, trusting relationship. We’ll talk about what brings you to therapy, what you’ve been experiencing, and what you hope to get out of our time together. This might look like us exploring specific goals or just your thoughts around therapy and what you are looking for.

What you can expect from me

My approach to therapy is warm, laid-back, and conversational. I want you to feel comfortable being yourself, knowing you don’t have to have everything figured out. I believe therapy can include honest conversations, meaningful reflection, while maintaining humor at times. I often share what I observe to help clients recognize patterns, gain new perspectives, and better understand themselves. My goal is to create a space where you feel heard, understood, and supported as we work together toward meaningful changes.
