Great to meet you!

I have worked with adolescents, adults, couples and families in mental health and substance use settings. Before becoming a therapist, I was a teacher, school principal, and non-profit executive leader. I have extensive experience working with families and navigating the business world.

My approach to therapy

I work with men who are figuring out how to show up in their personal and professional lives in ways that balance their skills, histories, and goals. Data tells us that men are less likely to identify their needs, seek help, and talk to their friends about challenges. Popular culture implies that men don’t notice how their mood, anxieties and behaviors impact those around them. And yet, men report that it’s helpful to problem-solve, learn more about their struggles, consider how to activate their motivation, and understand frameworks for making meaningful changes. I believe therapy can do these things - especially when it is flexible and focused on specific goals.

What you can expect from me

Over the course of the first few sessions, we'll work to set goals that keep you motivated to work on your priorities. At the beginning, it will be helpful to hear about what brings you to therapy. I'll come to the table with questions to guide the conversation, if helpful.
