Andrew provides a warm and welcoming environment and is a natural with kids and teens. He is gifted at using Uno or Hungry Hippo to gain a child/teen's trust and help them begin to work on their goals. Andrew has over a decade of experience working with kids and teens from in high conflict and high risk environments.

Andrew is an Arizona native and earned his Master of Advanced studies in Marriage and Family Therapy at ASU. He was a program director, therapist and supervisor in his previous role working primarily with local Native American populations. He has a diverse and very vast wealth of experience that he brings to us here at Cactus Wren.

My approach to therapy

Andrew has a solutions oriented approach to therapy. He believes therapy should work and that client goals should drive sessions. Thus, he is intentional about how he apporaches each session and client.

What you can expect from me

Andrew's clients tend to experience change within the first few sessions. Parents and minor clients feel they have an ally and coach that will bring relief to their children and family systems.
