Great to meet you!

With over two decades of experience in mental health and substance abuse treatment, I bring both clinical experience and advanced education to my work. I hold a doctorate in counseling and clinical supervision, and I provide virtual counseling for adults 18 and older. I support individuals navigating depression, anxiety, trauma, substance use disorders, grief, life transitions, and more. My focus is on creating a safe, accepting space where we can explore your challenges, develop effective coping strategies, and move toward the life you want to live.

My approach to therapy

I see therapy as a collaborative journey. Change is rarely a straight path—it’s often full of twists, turns, and moments of growth. Together, we’ll explore your thoughts, feelings, behaviors, and life experiences, identifying strategies that fit your unique needs. My approach is rooted in evidence-based practices, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), mindfulness-based approaches, and the Transtheoretical Model of Change. I also integrate other therapeutic methods to ensure your plan is personalized and effective.

What you can expect from me

My hope is that you leave our sessions feeling understood, supported, and equipped with practical tools to navigate life with clarity and confidence. You’ll develop strategies to manage emotions, shift unhelpful patterns, and embrace change with greater resilience. Ultimately, therapy with me is about empowering you to live a life that feels meaningful, authentic, and aligned with your values.
