Great to meet you!

I’m a Licensed Mental Health Counselor with over 10 years of experience working with adults. I’ve held leadership roles in mental health and social services, supporting individuals in managing stress, burnout, and career growth, including navigating transitions and moving toward promotions.

Before becoming a therapist, I worked as a personal trainer and have maintained a consistent fitness lifestyle for over 15 years. This shapes my approach. I focus on consistency, structure, and practical progress, while recognizing how mental health affects motivation and long-term change.

In our work together, the focus may include managing work related stress, building consistency with fitness and health goals, and navigating relationship challenges with significant others, family, and friends. We also take into account how identity and cultural experiences shape expectations, family dynamics, relationships, and decision making, as these often play a meaningful role in how stress and challenges show up.

Sessions are collaborative, practical, and paced in a way that feels manageable. The goal is to help you better understand what you’re experiencing, strengthen communication and boundaries, and develop realistic strategies so you can feel more balanced, confident, and in control.

My approach to therapy

My approach is supportive, collaborative, and goal oriented. I focus on helping you understand what is contributing to your stress or changes in mood, while also giving you practical tools you can apply in your daily life.

I often work with people who feel overwhelmed or stuck, even though they are managing a lot. This can include work related stress, difficulty staying consistent with fitness or health goals, and challenges in relationships with a significant other, family, or friends.

Together, we focus on identifying patterns, improving boundaries, and building routines that feel realistic and sustainable. Therapy is not just about talking through problems, but also about creating meaningful, lasting change.

My goal is to help you feel more clear, more in control, and better equipped to handle what is in front of you.

What you can expect from me

The first session is an opportunity to talk through what’s been going on and what you’d like to work on. You’ll have space to share at your own pace, with guidance along the way to help clarify your current challenges and goals.

We may begin exploring areas such as stress related to work, relationships, or maintaining consistency with personal goals, while also considering how different aspects of your life are connected.

By the end of the session, you can expect to leave with a clearer understanding of your situation and a general sense of direction for next steps. From there, we can begin identifying goals and how to move forward together.
