Great to meet you!

I'm Dr. Andrew Mendonsa, a clinical psychologist and therapist with 20+ years of experience helping folks like you navigate life's complexities and embrace their true potential and authentic self. I also specialize in working with straight and LGBTQIA+ individuals, those struggling with problematic sexual behavior, kink/alt lifestyle/polyamory-focused issues, and anyone seeking a male therapist's perspective.

A bit about my approach to therapy

I offer a variety of treatment approaches to help you overcome depression, trauma, anxiety, relationship issues, life struggles, and issues specific to men/those identifying as men. As an LGBTQIA+ affirming therapist, I offer a safe and judgment-free space to explore your identity, gender, relationships, sexual expression, and sexuality.

My approach to therapy is collaborative, goal-oriented, and results-driven. I believe therapy should be a catalyst for change, not a lifelong commitment.

What you can expect from our first session

I help clients facing struggles, depression, anxiety or trauma which is sometimes tied to relationships or family. In our early sessions, we'll explore the core issues and create a plan to help you regain control of your life. Many clients notice gradual relief within the first month, with continued progress over time.
