Great to meet you!

Life can feel overwhelming — whether you're navigating substance use, anxiety, depression, or just feel stuck. If that sounds like you, I'd love to help.

I work with both teenagers and adults facing substance abuse and mental health challenges, and I bring years of hands-on experience to our work together. I draw from several evidence-based approaches — including CBT (changing unhelpful thought patterns), DBT (building skills to manage intense emotions), ACT (learning to move forward even when difficult thoughts are present), and polyvagal theory (understanding how your body responds to stress and safety). I'm also trained in Brainspotting, a body-based therapy that helps identify and release stored trauma, and I'm currently completing training in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), a technique that helps your brain process and heal from difficult experiences. I'm also studying Internal Family Systems (IFS) through the IFS Institute — an approach that helps you understand and work with different parts of yourself.

I'm always investing in my growth as a clinician because I believe you deserve a therapist who's just as committed to learning as they are to listening.

My approach to therapy

I don't see myself as the expert in the room — you are. You know your life better than anyone, and my role is to walk alongside you, bringing tools, perspective, and genuine support as we work through whatever you're facing.

Together, we'll tackle what's holding you back — whether that's breaking patterns, processing difficult experiences, or building the skills to handle what life throws your way. My style is collaborative, warm, and direct. I'll meet you where you are, challenge you when it helps, and support you when things feel hard.

What you can expect from me

Our first session is all about getting to know each other. I'll ask about what brought you to therapy, what you're hoping to get out of it, and a bit about your story — but there's no pressure to share more than you're comfortable with.

I also want you to get a feel for whether we're the right fit. The therapeutic relationship matters just as much as the techniques, so I encourage you to ask me questions too. By the end, we'll have a sense of direction and a starting plan for our work together.
