Great to meet you!

With over 12 years of experience in mental health counseling, workplace wellness, and integrated primary care behavioral health, my life’s purpose is to help people find wholeness. I’m passionate about offering compassionate support to individuals and couples as they navigate life’s challenges, ensuring they feel heard, valued, and empowered to grow.

Throughout my career, I’ve worked in a variety of settings—including hospitals, outpatient programs, and corporate environments—where I’ve built meaningful relationships with clients while managing high caseloads. Whether providing short-term counseling, coaching clients through transitions, or supporting employees in enhancing their well-being, I am deeply committed to fostering an environment where individuals can address their challenges with understanding and care.

A particular area of focus for me is helping couples strengthen their relationships. I find great fulfillment in guiding them through communication issues, conflicts, and life stressors. I believe strong, healthy relationships are key to overall well-being, and I’m passionate about helping couples build lasting, supportive connections.

I also work with individuals dealing with a range of issues like depression, anxiety, family challenges, and work-related stress, always aiming to help them find balance and self-discovery. Additionally, I have contributed to wellness programs and telehealth services, equipping individuals and leaders with tools to thrive both personally and professionally.

I am dedicated to continuous growth, which is why I’ve pursued additional training in areas like Primary Care Behavioral Health and telehealth technology. This allows me to stay adaptable and ensure the care I provide remains effective and relevant.

In every aspect of my career, I strive to create a safe, open, and understanding space for people to explore their challenges and feel supported on their journey toward wholeness.

My approach to therapy

With over 12 years of experience as a Licensed Professional Counselor, my approach to therapy is integrative, drawing from evidence-based practices to meet each client’s unique needs. I believe therapy should be a collaborative process, empowering clients to make meaningful changes.

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) is a central part of my practice. I work with clients to identify and challenge negative thought patterns that influence their emotions and behaviors. By shifting these patterns, clients can experience lasting change in how they respond to stress, anxiety, depression, and other challenges.

Client-Centered Therapy emphasizes creating a warm, non-judgmental environment where clients feel truly heard. I believe every person has the capacity for growth, and my role is to foster self-compassion, increase self-esteem, and help clients access their inner strengths to overcome struggles.

Solution-Focused Therapy helps clients set clear, actionable goals and focus on solutions rather than problems. By identifying strengths and past successes, we work together to develop practical steps that empower clients to create positive change in their lives.

Brief Therapy Models are especially helpful for clients looking for quick, focused results. I offer structured, goal-oriented approaches to address specific issues in a shorter time frame, helping clients gain relief and make progress quickly.

In all my work, I strive to create a flexible, client-driven approach that encourages insight, resilience, and long-term well-being.

What you can expect from me

Clients can expect to leave each session feeling more empowered, supported, and equipped to handle life’s challenges. My approach is centered on fostering self-awareness, providing practical tools, and creating a safe space for exploration and growth.

  1. Increased Self-Awareness: Clients gain a deeper understanding of their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors, helping them make informed decisions moving forward.
  2. Practical Tools for Change: I offer actionable strategies, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to manage stress and Solution-Focused Therapy to identify solutions, helping clients apply what they’ve learned in daily life.
  3. A Safe and Compassionate Space: Clients can expect a non-judgmental environment where they feel heard, valued, and understood, which is essential for healing and growth.
  4. Empowerment and Confidence: Through collaboration, clients identify their strengths and build confidence, feeling more in control of their lives.
  5. Improved Relationships: Whether personal or professional, clients learn skills to strengthen communication, resolve conflicts, and foster healthier relationships.

In summary, clients will leave sessions feeling more self-aware, confident, and equipped with the tools they need to navigate their challenges and create lasting, positive change.
