Great to meet you!

I have dedicated my career to improving the human condition. I help people learn to cope and thrive in the presence of experiences like stress, chronic medical conditions like pain and insomnia, sadness, and feelings of hopelessness and searching for meaning. I have worked with people from just about every walk of life- women, men, LGBTQ folks, seniors, doctors, students, veterans, executives, athletes and more.

My approach to therapy

I am a little different from traditional psychologists or counselors in that my background is in primary care; in that sense visits with me are therapeutic, but straight forward and not too "fluffy." People I work with often find this refreshing, especially if they aren't comfortable with a more stereotypical style of traditional mental health counseling.

What you can expect from me

I'm a good fit if seek an easy conversation style free of judgement, that is change-oriented, meaningful and clear. I am NOT a fit if you are struggling with severe mental illness, psychiatric hospitalization, substance use disorders, require legal references or documentation, or intensive treatment. I go into our work as a partner and a facilitator. I already know you are fundamentally good. Our jobs will be to align this internal value and worth with the rest of your life and environment.
