Great to meet you!
I’m a therapist with experience working with adolescents and adults navigating mental health concerns, substance use, trauma, life transitions, relationship difficulties, anxiety, depression, and other everyday challenges. My clinical approach incorporates evidence-based practices including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Motivational Interviewing, while tailoring treatment to the individual needs and goals of each client.
My approach to therapy is grounded in authenticity, trust, and meeting people where they are. I strive to provide a supportive and nonjudgmental environment where clients can be honest about what they are experiencing without feeling pressured to have everything figured out. At the same time, I believe therapy should help create meaningful change, and I am comfortable respectfully challenging clients when it can help them recognize patterns, develop new perspectives, and move toward their goals.
My background includes military service prior to becoming a therapist, which has influenced my ability to remain calm during difficult situations and appreciate that people can experience the same circumstances from very different perspectives. I ultimately chose this profession because I value genuine human connection and the opportunity to help people better understand themselves, develop practical skills, and build lives that feel more manageable and meaningful.
