Great to meet you!

If you're looking for someone who meets you where you are, I may be your person. I'm Andria, an LPC with six years of experience in schools and community mental health. I bring creativity into every session, including games, activities, and film clips, because growth should feel engaging, not clinical. Curious? I'd love to connect.

My approach to therapy

My primary tool is Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT): the idea that when we catch and challenge unhelpful thought patterns, how we feel and act can start to shift. But I don't just talk about it. I use games, activities, and carefully chosen film clips to bring CBT concepts to life in ways that stick outside the therapy room. Sessions feel structured and purposeful: we will identify your specific patterns, build practical skills to replace them, and work toward your goals on a clear timeline so you always know where we are headed.

What you can expect from me

I will introduce myself to the client during the first session and provide them with a brief background of my experience and education. I want to make the client feel as comfortable as possible. I will ask the client why they are seeking counseling services and what they hope to gain while in counseling. I will explain to them that they will be getting services tailored specifically to their needs. I will ask them if they have goals they want to work on. If they do have goals, we will create a timeline to start working towards those goals.
