I'm Andy Novinska, a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor practicing in Illinois since 2001. I work with adults navigating mood and anxiety issues, relationship patterns, and compulsive behaviors, including substance use, gambling, and sexual compulsivity. I see clients in person in Mahomet and by telehealth throughout Illinois.
My approach is collaborative and exploratory, combining evidence-based methods with a relational, attachment-based framework. I don't think you can fully understand where you're stuck without understanding how you got there, so we'll look honestly at how your earliest relationships shaped the way you see yourself and connect with others. I'm equally focused on what comes next, translating insight into change that feels doable to you.
