Andy Overgard is a Licensed Professional Counselor in Texas who has been practicing since 2021. He has a BA in Biology and a BS in Public Health from Schreiner University and an MA in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Texas A&M-San Antonio. Andy provides a safe calm space for clients to explore thoughts and feelings. He has had a variety of life experiences which allows him to connect with many different clients on many different levels. Andy is also a Wounded Combat Veteran so he can also relate to Veterans on levels that others cannot.

Outside of work, Andy enjoys cooking, scuba diving, hiking, fishing, music, traveling, family, and his grandchildren.

A bit about my approach to therapy

He does not take a cookie cutter approach to therapy, trying to fit every client into a specific box. Andy believes in the uniqueness and individuality in people and feels that his therapy should be tailored to that individual.

What you can expect from our first session

Hopefully, with time, clients will take away a better understanding of themselves, there unique situations, and better ways of coping with them and life in general.
