Great to meet you!

Welcome! Taking the first step toward therapy is a powerful choice, and I am honored you are here. My name is Andy Stahl and I am a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor and Licensed Independent Chemical Dependency Counselor in the State of Ohio. I attended Wright State University in Dayton. Go Raiders!

Life comes with complex challenges, and my goal is to provide a warm, inclusive, and collaborative space where you feel completely safe to explore them. My practice is grounded in understanding you as a whole person, including how your environment, relationships, and community shape your daily life. Together, we will look at the big picture while building practical, everyday strategies to help you thrive.

My approach to therapy

We will blend evidence-based techniques with compassionate support to help you reach your goals such as:

  • Mindfulness to help you stay grounded in the present moment.
  • CBT & Behavioral Modalities to gently reframe unhelpful thoughts and actions and to help make meaningful behavioral changes.
  • Solution-Focused Tools to identify your strengths and create actionable steps forward.
  • Ecological Perspective to honor how your unique environment impacts your well-being.

What you can expect from me

What to Expect in Our First Session

Your first session is all about setting a comfortable foundation. It is a collaborative, low-pressure conversation where we will:

  • Get to know each other through casual introductions.
  • Complete a gentle assessment of what brings you to therapy.
  • Discuss your history and current challenges at your own pace.
  • Set initial goals for what you want to achieve.
  • Answer any questions you have about the therapeutic process.
