Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with more than 20 years of experience supporting individuals and families through life's most challenging transitions. My practice focuses on helping people navigate serious illness, caregiving, grief and loss, anxiety, depression, life transitions, and the emotional complexities that can arise when health, relationships, and identity are impacted by change.

In addition to my psychotherapy practice, I have extensive experience as a palliative care clinician working with individuals and families facing chronic, serious, and life-limiting illnesses. This work has shaped my commitment to helping clients navigate uncertainty, cope with complex emotions, strengthen communication, and find meaning even during difficult times.

I strive to create a warm, culturally responsive, and inclusive therapeutic space where clients can explore challenges, discover strengths, and work toward greater well-being and quality of life.

Areas of Focus

  • Anxiety and depression
  • Caregiver stress and burnout
  • Grief, loss, and bereavement

I welcome adults seeking support, healing, growth, and a trusted therapeutic partnership.

My approach to therapy

My approach is compassionate, collaborative, and grounded in the belief that every person deserves to be seen, heard, and supported within the context of their unique life story. I draw from psychodynamic therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), mindfulness-based approaches, narrative therapy, and strengths-based interventions to help clients build resilience, deepen self-understanding, and reconnect with what matters most.

What you can expect from me

Starting therapy can feel like a big step. Our first session is an opportunity for us to get to know one another and begin building a trusting therapeutic relationship. We'll talk about what brings you to therapy, your goals, current challenges, and any important experiences that have shaped your life. There is no pressure to share everything at once. My goal is to create a warm, supportive, and nonjudgmental space where you feel heard, respected, and comfortable moving at your own pace.
