Angel De La Rosa is a Licensed Professional Counselor. He has over 20 yrs. experience in a variety of settings including Juvenile Probation Dept., Adult Probation Dept., CPS school-based program, private practice. His areas of expertise include treating depression, anxiety disorders, interpersonal concerns, adjustment disorders, couples counseling, ADHD, ODD, trauma.

Angel hails from a large family of 15 siblings, providing him with rich, hands-on experience in navigating diverse personalities and life experiences. As a father of two daughters—one in college and one in high school—he possesses a deep understanding of the various challenges that children and adolescents face. Angel and his wife share a passion for the outdoors, enjoying activities such as hiking, boating, camping, and dancing. They cherish spending quality time with their extensive family, fostering a strong sense of community and connection.

I prioritize a client-centered approach, fostering a trusting relationship by attentively listening to individual concerns. I focus on harnessing each person's strengths and motivations for change. Additionally, I integrate evidence-based practices, including cognitive behavioral therapy and mindfulness, to promote effective and meaningful progress.
