Great to meet you!

Hi, I’m so glad you’re here! Navigating your 20s and early adulthood can feel overwhelming, with so many changes, new responsibilities, and opportunities for self-discovery. I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Sociology from California State University, San Bernardino, in 2020, and my Master’s degree in Educational and Clinical Counseling from Azusa Pacific University in 2023, and bring five years of experience working in the mental health field. My practice focuses on supporting young adults navigating anxiety, depression, ADHD, and life transitions by creating a warm, supportive space to build self-awareness, develop coping skills, and explore life’s challenges. You don’t have to have it all figured out to get started. I’m here to help you navigate adulthood at your own pace.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is person-centered and strength-based, meaning I meet you where you are and tailor each session to your unique needs. I strive to create a safe, welcoming space where you can show up as your authentic self, explore your experiences, ask questions, and even share a little laughter along the way. I incorporate approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), motivational interviewing, and values work to help you build self-awareness and develop tools that feel meaningful to you. I also believe in being your cheerleader, helping you recognize your strengths and reminding you of the progress you’re making, even when it’s hard to see for yourself. Ultimately, therapy is a collaborative journey toward understanding yourself, identifying what matters most to you, and finding a path forward that feels true to who you are.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is an opportunity for us to get to know each other, explore what brings you to therapy, and discuss what you hope to gain from the experience. We’ll talk about your goals and begin identifying the steps we can take together to help you get there. Most importantly, we’ll start building our therapeutic relationship, because I believe feeling safe, understood, and supported is the foundation of meaningful growth. My goal is to create a warm, nurturing space where you can feel comfortable showing up as your authentic self, at your own pace. You don’t need to have all the answers or know exactly where to start, we’ll figure it out together!
