Great to meet you!

I’m a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist based in Berkeley, California. I work with adults navigating trauma, anxiety, emotional overwhelm, life transitions, relationship patterns, and the lingering effects of difficult or painful experiences. Many of the people I work with are thoughtful, high-functioning, and insightful, yet still find themselves stuck in patterns that feel hard to shift alone.

My background includes training in EMDR, somatic and attachment-focused therapy, parts work, and ketamine-assisted psychotherapy. I earned my Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology from The Wright Institute. I also bring a mindfulness and body-based perspective to therapy through years of yoga and meditation practice.

My style is warm, collaborative, and depth-oriented while still practical and grounded. I especially enjoy working with complex trauma, highly self-aware clients, neurodivergent clients, and people who want therapy that goes beyond coping skills alone.

My approach to therapy

My approach is relational, experiential, and trauma-informed. I integrate EMDR, somatic therapy, mindfulness, attachment-focused work, and parts work to help clients understand not only why they feel stuck, but how to begin shifting long-standing emotional and behavioral patterns at a deeper level.

I pay close attention to the nervous system and the ways stress, trauma, and early relational experiences can shape emotions, beliefs, and the body. Therapy with me is often both insight-oriented and experiential — helping clients build awareness while also creating meaningful emotional change.

I aim to create a space that feels engaged, collaborative, and emotionally honest. Depending on the client, our work may involve processing trauma, exploring relationship dynamics, increasing self-compassion, building emotional regulation skills, or reconnecting with parts of themselves that have been overwhelmed, disconnected, or stuck in survival mode.

What you can expect from me

The first session is a chance for us to begin getting a sense of what’s bringing you to therapy and what you’re hoping will feel different in your life. I’ll ask questions about your current concerns, background, relationships, and any patterns you’ve noticed over time, while also making space for you to ask questions and get a feel for how I work.

My goal is not to rush into fixing or diagnosing, but to create an environment where you feel understood, emotionally safe, and able to speak openly. Together, we’ll begin identifying themes, goals, and an approach that feels supportive and tailored to your needs.

Clients often tell me they appreciate that sessions feel both grounded and engaged — with room for depth, reflection, practical tools, and genuine human connection.
