Great to meet you!

I work with high achievers who struggle with stress, anxiety, self-doubt, relationship challenges, and/or feeling the pressure to perform. Together we'll work to turn those feelings of being stuck into a confidence and balance. If you're an athlete, a parent, or just feeling a bit lost, I've made it my mission to help people help themselves. In my almost twenty years in public education as a teacher and counselor, I have worked with a variety of challenges. In my everyday life, I juggle being a mom of 6, a coach’s wife, grandmother, and counselor, always working to give my best in each role.

My approach to therapy

In our work together, I will meet you where you are and help you work towards where you want to be. I listen for the things you don't quite have the words to say. I will make you feel unconditionally heard, understood and accepted. We'll work on helping you feel safe to express the tough stuff. My approach includes Solution Focused (SFT) and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). Together, we'll learn how to accept what we cannot change, become brave enough to change things we cannot change, and learn to differentiate between the two.

What you can expect from me

I work with clients to give them the tools to better manage the day to day challenges that prevent them from living with a sense of peace. Together, we'll talk through the things that you struggle with and fill your toolbox. Reach out today and let's chat.
