Great to meet you!

I hold a degree in Community Counseling from Loyola University in Chicago and am a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor. I have been practicing for 17 years and specialize in helping adults navigate through anxiety, trauma, life transitions and stress.

A bit about my approach to therapy

I focus more on the body's autonomic nervous system and it's role in how we feel and think. I use aspects and techniques from Polyvagal informed therapy that focus on using imagery and landscapes to navigate through the nervous system.

What you can expect from our first session

With the right support and guidance, you will be able to understand what your body is doing physically when you are feeling anxious, overwhelmed, triggered and how it affects your thought process. I help create a safe space for you to learn the right tools to be able to navigate from a scary thought or feeling to a safe and calm place inside your body and mind. You will leave sessions feeling like a weight has been lifted and you can breathe again.
