Great to meet you!
Hi, I’m Angela—but please, call me Angie.
If you are reading this, you might be feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or perhaps a little scared. I want you to know two things immediately: You are safe here, and you are not alone.
I am a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) in California and a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Missouri, with a masters degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Regent University in Virginia Beach, VA. I specialize in anxiety, depression, trauma, parenting, and supporting our military and first responders. But, my education isn’t the only thing I bring to our sessions. My practice is built on a unique "dual perspective." I don’t just know mental health from textbooks; I know it from life.
My journey to becoming a therapist began in a moment of fear. When my child experienced their first mental health crisis, I was terrified. While I was grateful to find resources for my child, I felt completely lost as a parent—confused, guilty, and searching for a hand to hold while I navigated the storm. I went back to school to become that hand for others.
Whether you are a parent navigating family chaos, a first responder carrying the weight of the job, or someone struggling with anxiety and trauma, I get it.
