Great to meet you!

I am a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) with more than 10 years of experience in mental health care. I work with adults experiencing a variety of psychiatric concerns and provide comprehensive evaluations and medication management.

I believe effective care starts with listening, understanding your concerns, and making treatment decisions together. I strive to create a comfortable, respectful space where you can ask questions, discuss your concerns openly, and feel involved in every step of your care. My approach is thoughtful, individualized, and focused on helping you make meaningful progress toward greater emotional well-being and improved daily functioning.

My approach to therapy

My approach to care is collaborative, practical, and individualized. I take time to understand your symptoms, daily challenges, treatment history, and personal priorities so we can make informed decisions together. I believe medication works best when it is part of a broader plan that also considers sleep, stress, lifestyle, relationships, and overall functioning.

I aim to explain treatment options clearly, including expected benefits, possible side effects, and alternatives, so you feel confident in the decisions we make. As treatment progresses, we will regularly evaluate what is working, what has changed, and whether adjustments are needed to help you move toward greater stability and improved quality of life.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is a chance for us to get to know each other and for me to better understand what you have been experiencing. We will talk about your current concerns, symptoms, history, past treatment experiences, and what you hope to improve.

I want you to feel comfortable asking questions and sharing what matters most to you. We will discuss treatment options together and create a plan that feels manageable and aligned with your needs. My goal is for you to leave the first visit feeling heard, supported, and more hopeful about the path forward.
