Angela Davis

For 21 years, I was an arts teacher. This experience instilled in me the following principles:

-I believe that we are all capable of change and growth, and while change is hard, there is a point in growth that change becomes pleasurable as it is rewarding to meet deeper and kinder versions of yourself.

-I believe families are important, and all iterations of families can purpose to be supportive, nurturing places for growing human beings

-I believe healthy relationships are what makes life grand

My approach is rooted in grace. I believe many problems come from inner shame, and coming to regard one's self positively requires shaking off that shame. I will approach you with directness or validation or both, depending on what is needed in the moment to empower you.

They can expect to be greeted with warmth, humor, and curiosity about their journey. They can expect to be given choice and invited to take an active part in their change and healing journey.
