Great to meet you!

I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor and Approved Clinical Supervisor with experience helping adults, couples, and families navigate anxiety, relationship stress, family conflict, parenting challenges, and major life transitions. I work especially well with people who want to better understand themselves while also improving how they communicate, respond, and participate in the relationships that matter most to them.

My style is warm, conversational, and down-to-earth. I take the time to understand your full story—not just your symptoms—and I believe therapy should help you become a healthier, more emotionally intelligent version of yourself. For clients who desire it, I also offer counseling that thoughtfully incorporates Christian faith and values.

My approach to therapy

My approach is relational, practical, and centered on meaningful growth. I want you to feel genuinely understood, but I also believe good therapy should help you look beneath the surface, recognize patterns, consider different perspectives, and take healthy responsibility for what is within your control.

Together, we’ll work toward greater self-awareness, emotional intelligence, healthier communication, and more intentional responses to difficult situations. When relationships are involved, I make room for accountability, forgiveness, appropriate boundaries, and meaningful repair whenever repair is healthy and possible. I draw from several therapeutic approaches so treatment can be shaped around your individual needs, personality, relationships, and goals.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is an opportunity for me to understand what is happening, what brought you to therapy now, and what you hope will be different as a result of our work. We’ll discuss your current concerns, relevant history, important relationships, and any patterns you have already begun to notice.

You don’t need to arrive knowing exactly what to say or where to begin. I’ll ask thoughtful questions, help organize what may feel overwhelming, and begin identifying the areas we can work on together. By the end of the session, my goal is for you to feel understood, comfortable, and clearer about what moving forward could look like.
