Angela Furnari-Romano

Hi! I'm Angela. I've been in the field for over 10 years, but some would say I've always been a social worker at heart. I received my MSW at Rutgers University (Go Knights!) where I received a certification in Violence Against Women and Children. I have worked with clients experiencing anxiety, depression, ADHD, stress, life transitions, trauma, and more. When I am not working, I love spending time with my rescue dog, Maverick or going to the beach!

I utilize an eclectic approach (including but not limited to insight oriented, humanistic, cbt, dbt, and person-centered therapies), tailored to best meet my client’s needs. I believe that every person is an expert in their own experience and feel honored to be able to help guide my clients towards healing.

First and foremost, expect a judgment-free zone where you can show up authentically. My goal is for you to leave each session feeling heard and understood. Beyond that, you'll gain practical tools to navigate life's challenges, insights into your patterns and strengths, and a growing sense of empowerment.
