Great to meet you!

I am a licensed clinical psychologist in Los Angeles, working in private practice. Before training in psychology, I spent 12 years as a film and video editor in New York City. In 2007, I relocated to Los Angeles and decided to pursue a growing interest in psychology, first sparked during my own treatment in my mid-twenties. I earned an MA in Clinical Psychology from Antioch University Los Angeles in 2010 and a PhD in Clinical Psychology from Pacifica Graduate Institute in 2016.

My approach to therapy

At the core of my practice is careful listening and genuine curiosity about each client’s unique experience. I offer a safe, non-judgmental space where reflection and exploration foster insight and growth.

I believe successful therapy depends less on theory and more on the quality of the therapeutic relationship. I work collaboratively with warmth, empathy, and a down-to-earth style that helps clients feel supported. I am especially effective with individuals facing loneliness, depression, anxiety, life transitions, relationship challenges, creative blocks, and addiction.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, clients can expect a relaxed conversation focused on getting to know them and what brings them to therapy. I’ll ask about their background, current concerns, and hopes for treatment, while also answering any questions they have about the process. My goal is to create a safe, supportive space where we can begin building a working relationship. By the end of the session, clients usually have a sense of what it’s like to work with me and whether it feels like a good fit.
