Great to meet you!

As an experienced clinician working with a diverse client population living with depression, anxiety, relationship issues, and life changes, I understand that there are times when we all need a little help.

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the Commonwealth of Virginia. I have experience working with adults experiencing anxiety, depression, life stress, college transitions, job stress, caregiver burnout, chronic illness, and adults over age 65.

My approach to therapy

I love to work with any adult client who is experiencing stress, chronic illness, caregivers of aging parents, all adults including individuals 65+, anxiety, depression, or life transitions (such as transitioning to college, a new job, new family dynamics).

My approach is one of compassion and empowerment. My approach also focuses heavily on person-in-environment, as I believe it is crucial to take into consideration the holistic picture of each client.

What you can expect from me

In the first session, the most important thing to accomplish is for you to feel safe and know that you are the expert and the driver on this journey.

You can expect to utilize me as a guide to help bring out the issue(s) at hand. You can expect a clinician with a great deal of patience, professionalism, a safe space to explore your feelings, and a completely non-judgmental atmosphere.
