Great to meet you!

As a Licensed Professional Counselor with a strong foundation in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), I am committed to helping individuals navigate life's challenges with resilience and purpose. For the past three years, I've worked collaboratively with teens and adults to develop practical skills and therapeutic insight that support emotional regulation, behavior change, and overall holistic well-being.

My approach is compassionate, goal-oriented, and tailored to each client's unique needs. Whether you are managing overwhelming emotions, seeking healthier coping strategies, or simply looking to grow, I strive to create a supportive space where lasting progress can take place.

I am passionate about the ongoing journey of personal and professional growth and am dedicated to supporting the emotional and psychological wellness of every client I serve.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is warm, compassionate, and grounded in authenticity - with a touch of humor to help us navigate the tough stuff together. As a Black woman and licensed professional counselor, I bring an awareness of the unique challenges that women and people of color may face, and I intentionally create space in the therapeutic process to acknowledged and explore those experiences. Often, these issues can remain unspoken and overlooked, but I believe healing happens when we feel seen and heard in our full context.

I view therapy as a collaborative journey. You are the expert in your own life, and my role is to walk alongside you, helping you identify your most pressing needs and define the goals that are meaningful to you. Together, we'll prioritize what feels most urgent and clarify where you'd like to be at the end of our work together. Whether you're seeking relief, growth, or simply a space to breathe, I'm here to support your process - at your pace, with care, and without judgment.

What you can expect from me

Each session is an opportunity to open up, to be heard and seen, and to target the concerns that feel most urgent or significant in that moment. You'll leave sessions with more than just support - you may gain a new skill, a clearer perspective, or even a shift in how you understand your situation. I often offer practical tools or "homework" to help you apply what we've discussed in real-life settings, with the goal of building confidence and momentum between sessions. We'll revisit what you've tried, reflect on what worked (and what didn't), and adjust together. Growth doesn't stop at the the therapy room - it continues in the way you show up for yourself every day.
