Great to meet you!

Starting therapy can feel intimidating, and I believe one of the most important parts of counseling is having a space where you can simply be human—without judgment, pressure, or the feeling that you have to have everything figured out first. My goal is to create a supportive, down-to-earth environment where you feel safe enough to show up as you are, while also helping you move toward meaningful change and healing.

I work with adolescents, teens, and adults navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, mood disorders, personality disorders, relationship stress, life transitions, burnout, emotional overwhelm, and challenges with self-esteem or identity. Many of the clients I work with are used to carrying a lot internally—overthinking, people-pleasing, masking emotions, staying in survival mode, or feeling like they have to hold everything together for everyone else. Therapy can be a place where you no longer have to do that alone.

My approach to therapy

My approach is warm, collaborative, affirming, and practical. I use evidence-based approaches including CBT, DBT, and ACT, but I believe therapy should feel like a conversation with someone who genuinely cares—not like reading from a workbook. Together, we’ll work on understanding patterns, building coping skills, improving emotional regulation, strengthening relationships, and creating a life that feels more authentic and manageable for you.

Clients often describe me as approachable, validating, interactive, and easy to connect with. I value creating an inclusive space where people from all backgrounds, identities, and life experiences feel welcomed and respected. Whether you’re coming to therapy for the first time or returning after previous experiences, you deserve care that meets you with compassion, honesty, and understanding.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, we’ll take time to get to know each other and discuss what brought you to therapy. Together, we’ll explore your background, identify your goals, and outline a path forward. In each session that follows, we’ll begin with a check-in and move at your pace, focusing on what feels most important to you. My role is to provide guidance and a safe, supportive space for you to explore deeper emotions while building practical coping skills for everyday life.
