Great to meet you!

I'm Angie, and I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I work with adolescents ages 12 and older and adults who may be navigating anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, anger, stress, or changes in life that feel overwhelming. I've also worked with justice-involved individuals, and I understand how easy it can be to feel defined by your past or by circumstances that have shaped your life.

I believe everyone deserves the opportunity to feel understood, supported, and empowered to make meaningful changes. You don't have to have everything figured out before coming to therapy, and you don't have to carry everything on your own. I'm passionate about helping people recognize their strengths, work through difficult experiences, and find healthier ways to move forward. If you're feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or simply ready for something to change, I'd love to help you take that next step.

My approach to therapy

Before anything else, I listen. I want to understand your story, what you're experiencing, and what matters most to you. I believe therapy should feel like a conversation where you can be yourself, not a place where you feel like you have to say the right things or have all the answers.

I draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), along with a strengths-based approach, to help you understand your thoughts and emotions, build healthier coping skills, and navigate challenges in a way that feels manageable. Much of our work together will focus on practical tools and meaningful steps forward, but I also recognize that sometimes you simply need space to process and be heard. We'll find the balance that works best for you.

What you can expect from me

In our work together, you'll find compassion, encouragement, and a genuine commitment to understanding you as a whole person. Our first session is an opportunity to get to know each other, talk about what's bringing you to therapy, and begin identifying what you'd like to change.

You don't need to share everything at once. We'll move at a pace that feels comfortable while building a plan around your needs and goals. My hope is that over time, you'll begin to feel more confident in yourself, better equipped to manage life's challenges, and more connected to the life you want to live.

If you're ready to begin, I'd love to meet you. Book a session, and let's take that first step together.
