Great to meet you!

I’m Angela Josie, a Licensed Professional Counselor with 16 years of experience helping individuals navigate anxiety, depression, grief, relationship challenges, stress, and difficult life transitions.

Therapy with me is a space to feel heard, understood, and supported without judgment. Whether you’re feeling overwhelmed, struggling with your relationships, managing difficult emotions, or simply feeling stuck, we’ll work together to understand what’s getting in your way and identify meaningful steps forward.

My goal is to help you build stronger coping skills, reconnect with your strengths, and feel more confident handling life’s challenges.

My approach to therapy

My approach is collaborative, open-minded, and empowering. I believe therapy should be tailored to you, not a one-size-fits-all approach. We’ll work together to better understand your thoughts, emotions, and patterns while building practical tools that support the changes you want to make.

I draw from approaches including CBT, ACT, motivational interviewing, interpersonal, and strength-based therapy. I’ll meet you where you are, help you recognize your strengths, and support you in moving toward greater clarity and emotional well-being.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is an opportunity for us to get to know each other and talk about what brought you to therapy. You can expect a welcoming, judgment-free environment where you can share at your own pace.

We’ll begin identifying what you’d like to work on and what meaningful progress could look like for you. My goal is for you to leave feeling heard, supported, and confident that we have a path forward together.
