Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) based in Georgia. In addition to being an LPC, I hold a specialized certification as a Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor (CADC-II) and a Medication Assisted Treatment Specialist (MATS). I have worked in the field of treatment for substance use and co-occurring mental health in a variety of settings, including residential and outpatient treatment and community health since 2016.

My approach to therapy

I love working with men and women who are seeking freedom from addiction and those that have already started their recovery journey and are seeking additional support. Because addiction and trauma are often co-occurring, I typically work with individuals who have trauma-related disorders, such as PTSD, along with substance abuse or misuse. My approach is integrative, strengths-based, and holistic. With me, my clients learn the tools needed to achieve their best life.

What you can expect from me

I provide unconditional positive regard for my clients with empathy and compassion. My clients can expect to experience a feeling of being truly understood. My goal is for my clients to feel heard and seen as the unique individuals that they are. I help clients identify their strengths and provide them with tools for healthier coping skills with which they can overcome their unique challenges while learning to thrive, rather than just survive.
