Great to meet you!

As a board certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP), my goal is to provide compassionate, individualized, and judgement-free mental health care. My goal is to create a safe, supportive environment, where YOU are heard, respected, and empowered throughout your mental health journey. With over 12+ years of health care experience, I bring a diverse professional background that began working with children with special needs, serving as a Hospital Corpsman during the war of Afghanistan, providing care inpatient and outpatient settings with positions as a patient advocate, inpatient care in eating recovery centers, and over five years working in correctional healthcare. In addition, I have volunteered my time by providing services to special populations: homelessness, human trafficking, and supporting disabled veterans and first responders.

My approach to therapy

I recognize the fear and stigma that often surround mental health. Growing up in a Hispanic household, I learned at an early age how cultural beliefs and values can influence our understanding of mental health and our willingness to seek support. As a provider, I take a holistic, compassionate, and culturally sensitive approach to care, recognizing the connection between mental, emotional, and physical well-being.

What you can expect from me

During the intake process, we will discuss your mental health and medical history starting from childhood. We will take time to discuss your current challenges and personal goals. Together, we will develop an individualized treatment plan that considers your unique needs, values, and overall well-being.
