Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and a Fellow in Thanatology with the Association of Death Education and Counseling. I earned a PhD in Social Work with the University of Denver.

I specialize in supporting adults who are navigating grief and loss, caregiving and parenting challenges, chronic illness, disability, end-of-life concerns, and the many stresses that can come with life's transitions. Whether you're facing a difficult change, caring for a loved one, or adjusting to a new reality, you don't have to go through it alone.

My approach to therapy

I believe therapy is a meaningful act of self-care and a space where you can feel safe, supported, and truly heard. It is a place to share your story, explore your experiences, build on your strengths, and develop tools to help you move through life's challenges with greater confidence and resilience. My goal is to create a warm, compassionate, and nonjudgmental environment where you can show up exactly as you are. Using a collaborative, strengths-based, and trauma-informed approach, I work alongside you to help foster healing, growth, and a deeper sense of well-being.

What you can expect from me

The first session focuses on providing you time to tell your story, as well as gaining an understanding of your needs, and goals for counseling. We will also discuss any previous experiences you have had with counseling or therapy, as well as your expectations and understanding of the counseling process. This session provides an opportunity to explore what you hope to gain from therapy and to determine how we can best work together to support your goals.
