Great to meet you!

I am a trauma-trained, culturally competent Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 25 years of experience guiding individuals and families through crisis, acute stress, and long-term recovery. Drawing from my personal background in a multigenerational military and first responder family, I dedicate a core part of my practice to serving public safety personnel, combat veterans, and their loved ones. My professional background spans child welfare, addiction recovery, and comprehensive survivor advocacy for both children and adults navigating complex systems. Ultimately, I am deeply committed to providing compassionate care that fosters hope, self-regulation, and lasting resilience.

My approach to therapy

My therapeutic approach is grounded in trauma-informed, culturally competent, and client-centered care tailored to the unique realities of those I serve. Having supported clients through severe acute stress, moral injury, and systemic challenges, I create a grounded, non-judgmental space where safety and trust come first. I combine practical skill-building for emotional self-regulation with deep therapeutic work to address the root causes of trauma and distress. Whether working with first responders, adults, or children, my style is compassionate, collaborative, and focused on empowering clients to rebuild strength on their own terms.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, you can expect a warm, welcoming, and strictly non-judgmental environment where your safety and comfort are the top priorities. We will focus on getting to know one another, discussing what brought you to therapy, and addressing any immediate concerns or acute stress you may be experiencing. Together, we will begin outlining your personal goals for care—whether that involves developing practical tools for emotional self-regulation, navigating a transition, or building long-term resilience. My goal for our first meeting is for you to feel heard, supported, and clear on our path forward.
