Great to meet you!

Hi, I'm Angela, a board certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. Before becoming a PMHNP, I spent over a decade as a nurse working in emergency rooms, correctional facilities, and inpatient psychiatric units, so I've seen mental health care from just about every angle. That experience taught me to meet people exactly where they are, without judgment. I offer virtual psychiatric care to adults and adolescents in Washington State, with a focus on anxiety, depression, ADHD, mood disorders, and trauma.

My approach to therapy

No two people arrive at care the same way, and your treatment shouldn't look like anyone else's. When we start working together, I see it as a partnership, we're figuring things out side by side, not you simply following instructions. I want you to feel comfortable being honest with me, and to know that respect goes both directions in our visits. You can count on me to listen closely, ask thoughtful questions, and stay in your corner as we work toward what's right for you.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is mainly about getting to know each other. We'll talk through your history, what's brought you in, and what you're hoping care can look like. I'll create a relaxed space where you can be honest without feeling rushed or judged. By the end, we'll have a clear starting plan and next steps, though it's never set in stone as we learn more about what works for you.
