Great to meet you!

I'm passionate about empowering individuals to overcome challenges and live more meaningful lives. I offer telehealth services and am a Spanish speaker.

My own life experiences, including navigating difficult situations, have instilled in me a deep understanding of the power of therapy and the importance of mental, emotional, and physical well-being. It's what drew me to clinical social work and psychology.

Coming from a Hispanic background, I'm committed to providing therapeutic services in Spanish. I believe that culture profoundly influences our beliefs and behaviors, and that the ability to fully express ourselves in our native language is essential for achieving our goals. I'm passionate about working with the Hispanic community and prioritize building a strong therapeutic relationship with each client, creating a safe and non-judgmental space, and highlighting personal strengths to help them overcome obstacles.

Throughout my career, I've worked with individuals struggling with addiction and recovery, anxiety, depression, mood disorders, self-esteem issues, self-harm, eating disorders, abusive relationships, marital problems, and stress management.

In my free time, I enjoy knitting, crocheting, sewing, photography, and spending time with my husband and daughter. Having grown up in Florida, I love anything related to sea life, the beach, and Disney World.

My approach to therapy

I believe that building rapport is the most important part of accomplishing what brings you to therapy. Second, I work with you to figure out your treatment goals and provide tools that can address these. My approach integrates various modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Relapse Prevention, Motivational Interviewing, and EMDR.

What you can expect from me

Our first session will focus on better understanding you by completing a biopsychosocial assessment. This allows me to create an appropriate treatment plan to address the issues bringing you to therapy. We will identify goals and pick an area of focus.
