Great to meet you!

Licensed in CO and IL with immediate availability.

Life can feel overwhelming with the endless to-do lists, the heavy feelings that won’t go away, or that frustrating sense of being “stuck” in the same patterns. You might find yourself leaning on alcohol or other unhealthy coping strategies just to get through the day. If you’re ready for a change, unsure where to start, or simply want someone to understand and support you, you don’t have to face challenges alone. Together, we’ll explore healthier, more sustainable ways to cope, helping you regain balance, hope, and a sense of control over your life. I have over 10 years of experience working in the field of addictions, to include detox, in-patient treatment center, psychiatric hospital and out-patient.

My approach to therapy

I offer a safe, non-judgmental space where you can be heard and understood. We’ll tackle your challenges or what’s holding you back and find practical ways to move forward. My approach is holistic, mind, body, and if it fits for you, we can bring faith into the session too.

I offer Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), I also incorporate Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) when appropriate. EMDR is used to help process and reduce the emotional impact of distressing or traumatic experiences in a structured and evidence-based way.

My goal is to meet you where you are and walk alongside you with encouragement and practical tools to support healing, resilience, and personal growth.

What you can expect from me

In the first session, the focus is on creating a comfortable, supportive environment where you can begin to feel at ease and build a sense of trust in the therapeutic process. Because my services are provided through telehealth, you are able to attend sessions from wherever you feel most comfortable; ideally a private, safe, and quiet space within your home or another location that allows for confidentiality and minimal distractions.

My goal is to make therapy as accessible and comfortable for you as possible.

We will begin by exploring what brought you to therapy at this time. You can expect me to ask questions about your background, current concerns, and what you are hoping to achieve through therapy. We will also talk about your goals, what feels most important to you right now, and what you would like to see change or improve in your life. This helps us begin to create a personalized direction for our work together.

By the end of our initial session, we will begin identifying practical next steps and initial coping strategies that align with your needs and values. My goal is for you to leave with a sense of direction, increased self-awareness, and a starting point for building resilience and meaningful change, whether you are navigating addiction recovery, anxiety, or a significant life transition.
