Great to meet you!

Hi, I'm Angela — a Licensed Professional Counselor. For years I've had the privilege of walking alongside a diverse community of clients, offering treatment, assessment, and counseling with warmth and without judgment. So many of the struggles we carry today trace back to earlier experiences, and I believe that understanding those roots is where real healing begins. Whether you're navigating trauma, anxiety, depression, or a painful season of grief and loss, I'm here to help you make sense of it — and to remind you that a silver lining is always within reach.

My approach to therapy

I don't believe in one-size-fits-all therapy. I use a multi-modal approach that I tailor to each individual — drawing on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Motivational Interviewing, Person-Centered work, EMDR, and Attachment-Based Trauma therapy, along with therapeutic play techniques when they fit. My focus is often on the root causes behind life's difficulties, especially past traumatic events, so we can move beyond managing symptoms toward lasting change. You lead the pace; I bring the tools, the structure, and a steady, compassionate presence.

What you can expect from me

Our first session is all about getting to know you — no pressure, no rush. We'll talk about what brought you in, what's been weighing on you, and what you'd like your life to look like moving forward. I'll answer any questions you have about how I work, and together we'll start to shape a plan that feels right for you. My hope is that you leave that very first conversation feeling heard, a little lighter, and genuinely hopeful about the road ahead.
