Great to meet you!

I have practiced in the field of behavioral health since 1993. I became Licensed as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Virginia in 1999. I am trained to work with individuals, couples, groups and families. I have experience working in numerous settings focusing on treatment for mental health and substance use disorders.

My approach to therapy

Welcome and thank you for taking the time to learn more about me! I focus on a client centered approach tailoring therapy to meet clients where they are and helping them realize and get to where they want to be. I utilize a cognitive behavioral approach and motivation interviewing to empower clients to identify what is keeping them stuck and help them move forward.

What you can expect from me

Do you keep on saying to yourself "What is going on with me? "Why am I feeling and thinking differently about things"? Let's get together and talking about how you are thinking and feeling, working together to help you feel better.
