Great to meet you!

Maybe you’re the person everyone depends on—the capable one, the strong one, the one who keeps going. But underneath that, you may be grieving, overwhelmed, questioning your relationships, replaying the past, or simply exhausted from carrying so much alone. You don't need another place where you have to pretend you're okay. I’m Angela. I work especially well with adults navigating grief, trauma, emotional overwhelm, relationship and attachment patterns, women’s issues, and major life transitions. My style is warm and deeply human, but therapy with me is also active. We won’t only talk about what happened—we’ll work together to understand why it still affects you and what helps you move forward. I’m trained in EMDR and Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART), and I integrate approaches including CBT, DBT, attachment-informed work, and practical coping strategies based on what you actually need. There is no one-size-fits-all therapy here. You can expect compassion without judgment, honesty without harshness, and a therapist who will meet you where you are while helping you get somewhere different. If you've been thinking, "I can't keep doing this the same way," that may be the place we begin.

My approach to therapy

Therapy with me is warm, collaborative, and paced to your needs so you never feel rushed or pushed before you are ready. We will talk, reflect, and also focus on practical tools you can use between sessions. I will help you notice and understand your patterns with compassion instead of judgment and support you in rebuilding steadiness, confidence, and trust in yourself.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, we will start getting to know each other and explore what brought you to therapy now. We will talk about your current concerns, important life experiences, strengths, goals, and what you hope to gain from counseling. My style is warm, supportive, and interactive. I will listen closely, ask thoughtful questions, share feedback, and offer practical tools when helpful so you can arrive as you are and take the next steps at your own pace.
