Great to meet you!

Hello and welcome—I’m glad you’re here. My name is Angela Rincon, a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) and the founder of Thryv Therapy. I work with adults who are feeling overwhelmed, emotionally drained, or stuck—especially during major life transitions or seasons of heightened stress. My goal is to create a supportive, nonjudgmental space where you can slow down, feel understood, and begin to reconnect with yourself in a meaningful way.

I hold a Master’s degree in Psychology and have extensive experience supporting individuals navigating perinatal mood and anxiety disorders, depression, trauma, grief, and chronic stress. My approach is compassionate, collaborative, and grounded in evidence-based practices. Together, we’ll work to better understand your experiences, build coping tools that fit your life, and foster resilience so you can move forward with greater clarity, balance, and confidence.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is collaborative, compassionate, and tailored to you. I draw from evidence-based modalities including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma-Focused CBT (TF-CBT), Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), Narrative Therapy, and Strength-Based practices. Rather than taking a one-size-fits-all approach, I work with you to understand your goals, strengths, and lived experiences so therapy feels relevant and meaningful.

I strive to create a warm, supportive space where you feel genuinely heard and validated. Together, we’ll explore unhelpful patterns, process difficult experiences, and build practical tools you can use in everyday life. My goal is to empower you to develop insight, resilience, and confidence—so you can move forward feeling more grounded, capable, and aligned with the life you want to create.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is a chance for us to slow down and begin building a foundation of trust. We’ll focus on getting to know you—your story, what’s bringing you to therapy, and what you hope to gain from this process. There’s no pressure to share more than you’re ready for; we’ll move at a pace that feels safe and respectful of where you are.

At Thryv Therapy, I believe you already carry inner strength and resilience—even if it doesn’t feel that way right now. My role is to help you reconnect with those strengths in a space where you feel genuinely seen, supported, and understood. Together, we’ll begin identifying your goals and gently exploring next steps, so you leave your first session feeling grounded, hopeful, and supported as we move forward together.
