Great to meet you!

I'm a licensed psychotherapist with over 22 years of clinical experience. I work with adults, particularly women, who are navigating anxiety, depression, grief, trauma, and the kinds of life transitions that can leave you feeling unsteady or unsure of yourself.

I earned my MA in Clinical Psychology and have spent the last two and a half decades working with people through some of life's most difficult chapters. I currently offer telehealth sessions, which means you can access support from the comfort of your own home, on a schedule that works for your life.

My approach to therapy

My approach is warm and collaborative. Before anything else, I focus on creating a space where you feel genuinely safe and understood, because real therapeutic work can only happen when that foundation is in place. From there, I draw on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and mindfulness-based practices to help you develop practical tools alongside deeper self-awareness.

What you can expect from me

The first session is really about getting to know each other. I'll ask questions about what's bringing you to therapy right now, your background, and what you're hoping to get out of our work together. You won't be expected to have all the answers, and there's no pressure to share anything before you feel ready.

My priority in that first meeting is making sure you leave feeling heard, not evaluated. I want you to get a sense of who I am and how I work, so you can decide if I feel like a good fit for you.

By the end of our first session, we'll typically have a clearer picture of what you're dealing with and start to sketch out some initial goals for our work together. Those goals are always collaborative and can shift over time as you do.

More than anything, I want you to walk away from that first session feeling like this is a place where real change is possible.
