Great to meet you!

I have a Master’s degree in professional counseling and have been counseling for over 15 years. I have a lot of experience in crisis services assessing for suicidal ideation and working with people with a wide array of mental health diagnosis. I am warm and open minded. I enjoy working with the LGBTQ community as I am a mother of five children, one of which is a part of the LGBTQ community.

My approach to therapy

I use a lot of motivational interviewing and cognitive behavioral therapy. Existential therapy and affirming.

What you can expect from me

I create an environment where you as the member can come to goals, strategies, and techniques that benefit you and that you feel will work for yourself. I am willing to give strategies and techniques but I also want you to come to some realizations on your own as well as you will be more invested if you feel you are getting what you need to succeed.
