Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor. I received my Master of Education in Counseling and Guidance from The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley. I have 22 years of experience working in education, primarily as a school counselor. I have experience working with children, adolescents, and adults in grief/crisis counseling, suicide prevention, intervention and postvention, and self-esteem development, while using trauma-informed care practices. I am passionate and committed to helping my clients heal from past wounds, develop positive coping skills, navigate life’s challenges, build resilience, and achieve personal growth. In my spare time, I enjoy exercising, running, nature, reading, and spending time with my family.

My approach to therapy

I use evidence-based therapeutic approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy, Psycheducation, and Solition-Focused Therapy. I specialize in working with individuals struggling with anxiety, depression, and life transitions.
