Great to meet you!

I’m a dual board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner and Family Nurse Practitioner with experience in both private practice and community mental health settings. My background allows me to work with a wide range of individuals, from those navigating everyday stress and anxiety to those managing more complex mental health conditions.

I earned my Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP), Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP), and Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) degrees from Middle Tennessee State University, Maryville University, and Murray State University. My training across both primary care and psychiatry allows me to take a comprehensive, whole-person approach to care.

My approach to therapy

My approach to care is thoughtful, collaborative, and grounded in real-life practicality. I believe treatment should be both effective and manageable, not overwhelming. I take time to understand your symptoms in context—what’s working, what’s not, and what changes are actually realistic.

With experience in both community mental health and private practice, I’m comfortable working with a wide range of needs, from straightforward concerns to more complex situations. I use a whole-person approach that considers mental health, physical health, and day-to-day stressors, and I adjust treatment as needed to help you make steady, meaningful progress.

What you can expect from me

The first session is focused on understanding the full picture. We will talk through what’s been going on, how it’s affecting your day-to-day life, and what you would like to see improve. I will ask detailed questions to make sure nothing important is missed, but we will go at a pace that feels comfortable.

From there, we will work together to come up with a plan that is both effective and realistic. My goal is to help you leave the first visit with a clearer understanding of what’s going on and what the next steps will be.
