Great to meet you!

I am a board-certified psychiatric nurse practitioner with clinical experience in various clinical settings and homeless shelters. I provide supportive psychotherapy and medication management with expertise in treating depression, mood disorders, anxiety, PTSD, and psychotic disorders. I received my graduate degree from New York University.

My approach to therapy

I take an eclectic approach catered to each patient’s needs through supportive psychoeducation, interpersonal approaches, attachment based approaches, and CBT. I approach care in a holistic and culturally sensitive manner that allows my clients to feel comfortable expressing themselves and to be proactive members in their own treatment. I create a safe environment that validates a person’s experiences as well as an environment that nurtures their resiliency.

What you can expect from me

By the end of the first session, patients take away a strong sense of validation and confidence that their care is with the appropriate clinician that not only emphasizes shared decision-making but also is versed in psychopharmacological therapy. In each subsequent visit, patients can expect to have a combination of supportive psychotherapy and medication management components within their care at their therapeutic pace. Patients can expect me to remain fully present during their sessions.
